5 Fall Bags in 5 Fall Colours

By Allison Onyett, Sep 23

To ensure you have the hottest fall colours in your wardrobe, we scoured the CORE to find some of the season's best bags in the most popular hues.

Purple: This popular 70s' colour is all the rage this year. We’re seeing it in everything from nail polish and clothes to shoes and of course, bags. This slouchy bucket bag’s 70’s style gives it a vintage vibe and is a great way to add a little purple to your day to day look. Find it at Michael Kors.

Green: A hue that seems to be always in for fall, dark green works with almost any colour. We love this Tory Burch navy and green bag because of its timeless look, intricate weave, slim design, and optional strap for maximum versatility.  There’s no limit to how you can wear this bag. Find it at Holt Renfrew.

Burgundy: This rich red shade is everywhere this season. We like this burgundy back pack for your day to date tote needs. For those of you who grew up in the 90s, it may shock you to see the back pack trend making an official come back, but it definitely has, in virtually all shapes and sizes, including the mini. Pair this burgundy leather back pack with skinny jeans, black booties and a crisp blazer for a sophisticated on-trend fall look. Find it at Little Burgundy.

Black: Always an ‘in’ colour, you can’t go wrong with black. This season look for a bag with stud detail to get that rock star look. We like this carry-all Valentino Garavini Rockstud bag in calfskin leather. Find it at Holt Renfrew.

.

Blue: Although always a popular colour, blue is reclaiming its status this season as one of the must-haves for autumn. And while we are big fans of navy and darker shades our favourite is the true blues that were made popular in the 60s era, like the Algonquin blue of this draw string bag. Find it at Roots.
