By Maddy Weedle, Aug 30

The 2015 fall colours are here, and according to Pantone (the leading expert on trending colours) we're in for a real treat with bold earthy hues and soft sophisticated neutrals. While we don't expect anyone to overhaul their closet with the release of the colour report, keep these shades in mind when you incorporate new pieces into your wardrobe this season.

1. Dried Herb: While olive green is often in the mix of fall colours, its transitioned from last year's safari and military hue to a sophisticated chic shade with a soft sage undertone.

How to Wear It: We love this cozy sweater dress from Aritzia that has an oversized yet feminine fit. It's also perfect for transitioning into fall, with a loose turtleneck to keep you warm on cooler days.

How to Wear It: Try the hue in a sleek pair of pants like these one from Banana Republic. Besides the colour, we like their trendy faux leather trim which allows them to transition easily from a day at the office to an evening out.

4. Oak Buff: This sunny colour is the ideal neutral with crisp golden undertones that remind us of freshly fallen leaves crunching under our feet.

How To Wear It:  A classic cotton trench from Brooks Brothers is the perfect piece to invest in as you're likely to wear it season after season.  It also has removable heart print lining for added insulation.
